We built our apprenticeship program to support and educate future stylists that want to build the career of their dreams without any of the drama or mess that comes from figuring it all out on your own.

JUNE KARTER APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
Our apprenticeship program guides you through the scariest parts of building your styling career and shaping your version of success.
Because let’s face it: life after beauty school isn’t always a walk in the park. You can read theory and practice on mannequins for years, but it will never give you the experience of working, collaborating, and supporting your clients and peers in a busy, high-end salon environment.
Instead of being thrown to the wolves and hoping for the best, we developed our apprenticeship program to be an easy transition into the career of your dreams:
1 day per week, you’ll work alongside one of our expert stylists, helping them serve their clients and delivering hair goals in real-time.
ASSISTING EXPERIENCED STYLISTS
Monthly coaching sessions and regular trainings allow you to plan your individual path to success while mastering the skills that gain us our loyal client base.
1:1 MENTORSHIP & EDUCATION
2 days per week you’ll have the chance to take on clients, taking the skills that you learned behind the scenes behind the chair + make money!

APPRENTICESHIP FAQ'S
Yes! In fact, we’d prefer if you did! Of course, we will always be supportive of how you choose to build your career after your time as a June Karter apprentice is finished, but you will be offered to either continue with our team mentorship opportunity or continue as a true independent contractor in our salon once your apprenticeship is completed.
On top of technical skills, we are seeking applicants that are eager to learn, accepting of constructive criticism, outgoing and team-oriented, and serious about working in a luxury environment and providing a luxury experience. Someone that wants a future with June Karter. The team at June Karter is seriously like a family (we know everyone says that, but we mean it), and we’re ultimately looking for someone with hype girl vibes that will fit in perfectly with the rest of the team.
We accept 3-4 apprentices into our program per year.
Our apprenticeship program is 18 months long.
No. But you have the opportunity to make money taking clients 2+ days a week, keep 100% of tips, and receive product retail commission. We understand that being an apprentice at June Karter is an investment that not everyone can take on. However, you will be offered a chair at the salon after your time as an apprentice is over, and you will walk away with the skills and insider secrets that we use to book and keep high-value, loyal clients.

You crave in person training and dont think a 1-3 day masterclass is going to do it for you. A perfect opportunity to learn Morgans industry secrets to extremely comfy, blendy, scalp healthy extensions, and get multiple in person trainings + ongoing support when taking clients on your own.
Extension kit (June Karter Salon's go to extension tools and supplies, mannequin head, tripod)
Three 1:1 in person 6+ hour trainings
